Clover Substation to Future Limber Substation 345 kV Transmission Line Constructed a new single circuit 345 kV transmission line, approximately 68 miles and supported on single circuit lattice steel towers, shall be constructed from Clover Substation to the future Limber Substation. This segment shall be designed and constructed to 500 kV standards including lattice towers, insulation, conductors, hardware and clearances, and energized at 345 kV. This line uses triple-bundled, 1949.6 kcmil ACSR/TW “Athabaska” phase conductors, one ½ inch EHS shield wire and one optical ground wire (OPGW). Limber Substation to Oquirrh Substation 345 kV Transmission Line Constructed a new double circuit 345 kV transmission line, on self-supporting double circuit tubular steel poles, near the future Limber Substation and terminate at Oquirrh Substation at a substation deadend structure between circuit breakers 325 and 345. The work at Oquirrh Substation supported three separate and distinct transmission projects for the Mona- Oquirrh transmission project. 1. Terminate a new Terminal- Oquirrh #3 line in bay 6. 2. Terminate a new Terminal- Oquirrh #4 line in bay 5. 3. Terminate the new Clover-Oquirrh line in bay 5. Bay 5 and part of bay 6 are all new, and follow the pattern of bays 7 and 8. A new 200 MVAR 345 kV shunt capacitor bank was added to the 345 kV north bus. The shunt capacitor bank was located in bay 4, on the south side of the north bus. Control and relay panel additions, modifications, and replacements were required to support the 345 kV additions/modifications. All of the panel additions, modifications and replacements occured within the existing 345 kV control building.
