The project was to replace a total of approximately 50-miles of ½” steel static wire with new 7 #7 HS Steel static wire. We removed up to 100 sleeves, removed/replaced 1,000 conductor dampers and replaced all static dampers, and added conductor weights to specific tower locations. The majority of the project was located in an area with no vehicle access, therefore all the work was completed utilizing helicopters.
