Constructed a new 70-mile 765kV line in central Indiana using self-supporting, 4-legged lattice towers constructed on concrete foundations. The line utilizes a 6-Bundle 795 kCMIL (45/7) ACSR conductor and two (2) optical ground wires were installed. The 765kV line is a green field project, built on a new centerline. EC Source was responsible for receipt, storage, and management of owner transmission line material inventory. The project included two (2) river crossings: The Tippecanoe River 250-foot crossing and the Wabash River 400-foot crossing.
